The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bears watched Sebastian Castro slide 145 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The veteran additions, George Kittle chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
