The Broncos worked the phones like thieves and earned a B. You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Broncos did exactly that with AJ Barner in slot 121. No fireworks, but a solid B.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. On value alone, Washington makes the weekend a net positive.
They went 8 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
