Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Vikings never addressed quarterback, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

If West pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Neal.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
