The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Browns watched Xavier Restrepo slide 236 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It lands right in the middle: a C-, no more, no less.

Whatever Shedeur Sanders becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

Adding Dion Dawkins by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

So much rides on Shedeur Sanders that the real verdict is a season or two away.
