Best value of the weekend goes to the 49ers for Hampton: B.

Whoever sat across the table from the 49ers should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Hampton falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
