McCarthy is the plan now, and the Bears grade out a B.

Start where it matters. The Bears took J.J. McCarthy to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The Orhorhoro pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Adding Zion Johnson by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
