The phones sank the Chargers this weekend: D-. The Chargers clearly saw something nobody else did in Nathan Pickering, taking him 145 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Landing Polk that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
