The board owed the Bears one, and it paid up: Tyler Booker, the No. 39 name on the board, sitting there at Round 3, Pick 8 like a gift left on the doorstep. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They are betting Buchanan proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
