Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. Jordyn Tyson, the No. 11 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 210. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
