A passer of the future in Williams, and a D, for the Broncos.

The phones were a trap the Broncos kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

The whole projection now runs through Caleb Williams; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Wilson steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
