They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Patriots' quarterback, full stop.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Jefferson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
