Somebody in Round 7, Pick 20 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Texans sat still while Kyle Williams, the No. 196 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Reaching for Ritzie left real value on the table behind him. Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
