The David Walker selection is the head-turner. The Saints reached 58 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Howard falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The Cooper Beebe pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one. On the needs board they went 8 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
