roylornn DRAFTING FOR THEJaguars
Draft Grade — Jaguars
Overall

FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Jaguars: B. There is a lot to like until you notice interior defensive lineman is still a hole. The Jaguars never got to the one that mattered most. The bottom line is a respectable B.
However the rest shakes out, Bell at that price is a win they earned. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
Pick Analysis
Pick56
Rnd2
Blake Miller
Blake Miller at slot 56 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick81
Rnd3
Dani Dennis-Sutton
No drama and no debate, Dani Dennis-Sutton went about where he belonged in the 81st overall pick. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick88
Rnd3
Daylen Everette
Fair-plus on Daylen Everette, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick100
Rnd3
Skyler Bell
Skyler Bell at the 100th pick is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
