Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bears spent the Round 7 slot on Dylan McMahon, a name the board had a full 66 spots lower. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

Nelson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Stover pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with running back, cornerback and other spots still on the board.

They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

Bottom line, with Marvin Harrison Jr. leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
