The board owed the Bears one, and it paid up: Tanner Koziol, the No. 98 name on the board, sitting there at Round 4, Pick 34 like a gift left on the doorstep. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Nwankpa has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
