It is the swing that defines the weekend: Richard Jibunor in the Round 7 slot, a good 117 spots before the room expected him.

Jackson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with running back, linebacker and other spots still on the board.

They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
