Larceny in No. 256 lands the Jets a C-, Jones and all. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Trente Jones got past him. The Jets do not have to explain a thing at the 256th overall pick. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C- in the wash.
They are betting Milton III proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.
The veteran additions, David Njoku chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
