More right than wrong for the 49ers, and a B- to prove it.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The 49ers reached some 45 spots for Khristian Boyd, and value like that does not grow back.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Johnson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
