A sensible, unshowy class lands the Lions a B-.

When the story of this class is written, it opens with Devaughn Vele at Round 7, Pick 29, a reach of 57 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.

However the rest shakes out, Keegan at that price is a win they earned. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
