Somebody in Round 4, Pick 5 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Lions sat still while DJ James, the No. 53 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Reaching for Corum left real value on the table behind him.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
