The rest of the league will want that one back. Ainias Smith tumbling to the Lions in pick No. 163 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
