There is reaching, and then there is Barryn Sorrell at the Round 7 slot. The Lions jumped the board by 87 and dared it to prove them wrong. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Getting Pierce where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Trey Hendrickson gives the group a proven body among the projects.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
