A sensible, unshowy class lands the Lions a B.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Lions did exactly that with Zion Logue in No. 248.

Walley at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The back end got a real overhaul.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the safety spot they never got to.
