The steal of the weekend belongs to the Lions and Laumea: B.

Somebody in pick No. 163 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Lions sat still while Sataoa Laumea, the No. 117 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Hartman has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
