There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Lions started one anyway for Dylan McMahon, 44 picks ahead of schedule.

The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That is an interior defensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
