The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Lions reached some 43 spots for Josh Proctor, and value like that does not grow back.

They banked enough surplus on Thomas Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
