The rest of the league had time to spare on Jaden Crumedy; the Lions did not wait, grabbing him 21 spots ahead at the Round 6 slot. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took McCaffrey.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
