The Lions let Harris fall and pounced. Final grade: B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Lions were there to profit. Tre Harris, the No. 44 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 188. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Nolen pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, running back and other spots.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
