The Lions did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Graham Barton fell into slot 92. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Kamara has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.

Darius Slay gives the group a proven body among the projects. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
