You build a draft on nights like this. Jase McClellan had no business being available in pick No. 252, and the Lions did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They are betting Frazier proves the room right and everyone else wrong. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
