A sensible, unshowy class lands the Lions a B-.

There is reaching, and then there is Haynes King at No. 218. The Lions jumped the board by 80 and dared it to prove them wrong. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
