More right than wrong for the Lions, and a B to prove it.

The Lions torched the value chart for Jeremiah Walker, taking him 27 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will answer for taking interior defensive lineman early while edge rusher, linebacker and other spots went begging. Getting Newton where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
