The war room fell hard for Haynes King, and it showed at the Round 7 slot: 75 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Slaughter. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
