Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Tahj Washington at the 251st pick is 100 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Landing Fiske that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They went 4 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
