Somebody in the 249th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Lions sat still while Tyrice Knight, the No. 213 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
