The board owed the Lions one, and it paid up: Walter Rouse, the No. 163 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 201 like a gift left on the doorstep. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They went 3 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The back end got a real overhaul.
