The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

If Wingo pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
