The tape said wait; the Bears did not. Eric Gregory went at No. 235, a good 37 picks before the board was ready. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Wease Jr. pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Trey Smith deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
