For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Jets walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

They will need Noel to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Evans.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
