The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

Sainristil at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

In the end it comes back to Caleb Williams, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
