The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. A weekend to file away and forget, and an F to match.

Whatever Drake Maye becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
