The Bears robbed the room for Briningstool. Final grade: B-.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jake Briningstool, the No. 160 name on the board, stolen at the Round 7 slot. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
