A sensible, unshowy class lands the Commanders a B-.

The Jaydon Blue pick is the one that will follow the Commanders into the fall. They took him 68 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

The Reed pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.

No drama and no debate, Alfred Collins went about where he belonged in pick 56. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
