The Bears let Corley fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

Corley at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

They will need Rice to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The veteran additions, Tee Higgins chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
