There is reaching, and then there is Isaac TeSlaa at the 165th pick. The Eagles jumped the board by 67 and dared it to prove them wrong.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 7 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball. A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
