The Saints cashed the board's mistake on Ioane: A.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Saints were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A.

Getting Ioane where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
