The Cowboys put a flag in the ground for Phillip Webb, 104 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
