The Panthers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Panthers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

Every board in the league had Sinnott lower, and that gap is the story. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.
