Draft Grade — Jets
Overall

FutureB-
Grand theft in Round 3, Pick 8: the Jets steal Worthy and grade out a B-. The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Jets watched Xavier Worthy slide 25 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Reaching for Eichenberg left real value on the table behind him.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick Analysis
Pick10
Rnd1
Rome Odunze
In pick 10 they get a weapon on the perimeter. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick72
Rnd3
Xavier Worthy
The board fumbled Xavier Worthy all the way to the 72nd overall pick, and they scooped it up. It fills a real need, too.
Pick111
Rnd4
Matt Goncalves
A tidy little value on Matt Goncalves in Round 4, Pick 11, a step better than break-even. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick134
Rnd4
Tommy Eichenberg
A conviction pick on Tommy Eichenberg at the 134th pick that the board grades a round light. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick185
Rnd6
Jordan Travis
Fair-plus on Jordan Travis, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick256
Rnd7
Ryan Watts
Circle this one: Ryan Watts at slot 256 is a fall that decides a draft. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick257
Rnd7
Daijun Edwards
Daijun Edwards is a better player than No. 257 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. The roster fit checks out.
